I have a Citreon Xsara Picasso 1.6 Desire which has developed an intermittent fault. It starts normally until I do a fast longish run. After I stop the car refuses to start. When I turn the ignition key to start, the normal warning lights illuminate on the dashboard, but the starter motor does not turn. I can hear a relay click, otherwise silence.
